I am proud to say this beautiful cactus in bloom is part of my home collection. The flowers come every year and that’s when I know it’s Spring. Sometimes it will bloom a second time if there has been extra rain. The flowers don’t last long, about a week, but when they do it’s like a celebrity has arrived. I call this painting “Sunny Side Up” because these two blooms are like morning breakfast, when the day is full of possibility. Keep the sunny side up when you take on the day and the world will shine back on you.
